A Simple Thank You

Last night at dinner with Jason I shared some words fellow DA artist Colt had said about Logan. Because the words brought me great comfort and a true smile to my face in what feels like ages.

"Waiting at the Gates? I think not. More like: Charging through them to get to you."

We were of course talking about Logan, as I tend to do in the extreme lately. I decided after to dinner to go out for a walk with my remaining dogs and husband and get some shots, wanting to take a really nice one for him. Lucia was pulling on her leash some but I did get off a few nice macro shots.

But life is funny. I wanted to thank him for those words and then I wake up and found a gift that I can never ever repay him for.
