Logan

This feature for the week is very special to me. On Feb. 27th Logan, my Lab Mix, will turn ten years old. Thats a long time to have any friend in your life. But Logan is very special for a number of reasons. I was there when she was born and I had to rub her to make her start breathing. Due to the lack of blood to her brain she got a slow start and no one wanted her so I took her. As I figured she developed fine and proved to be a smart dog.



I was there when she gave birth the first time. And again for the 2nd litter. On her 2nd litter she lost one and she understood and it broke her heart and mine. She never had any more after that and I have not had her fixed. Don't tell me animals do not understand.

She was stolen when she was 2 years old and gone for a day and half, shortly after 9-11 when I was a basket case trying to locate family and friends. She returned with rope around her neck and she seemed to have been beaten.

She was with me when met my husband. With us when we bought our first house and is still with me. Her presence is a blessing for me and I thank God her health is still good and that he sent us to eachother. Happy Birthday Logan (even though you can't read!) and enjoy the dog features everyone!
